Why do you have to include your voobly profile when signing up?

Probably to verify that people are the same people.

There's points for seedings towards people who did well in boa. You need 3 of the same people on the team. Voobly profiles is a good way to check.

Just a thought, I dont know what anyone else thinks but

wouldn't it be better to put a thin ice ( to avoid walling like on land madness ) instead of that water which will turn game into water + demofest.

Id vote for the stone over the ice for visual reasons, but otherwise I agree - I think that map would be better without walling and water

Would it be possible to switch the flank player color positions so its Blue vs Red/Cyan vs Purple instead of the other way around? Specifically Blue vs Purple is kinda hard to differentiate between players, whereas both Blue vs Red and Cyan vs Purple are both quite distinctive.

That could definitely be an option.
I did read a certain point from the leaked changelog that might make this obsolete.
I can give you a more definitive answer once the update is live

It's easy to make a mod to exchange red and purple ingame (and I can do it for you)
but I can't find how to exchange mini map color

It is in the UiColors file in the widgetui folder.

Note: you can't change the HealthBar colors

There are multiple colourblind presets to pick from. if you are colourblind and don't use game features made for you then it's on you. if you don't like official ones, you can always create new one or edit official ones

A work around to all of this is have players use orange instead of purple It will not change the players position compared to purple. Also in most cases purple is considered a cool color not warm one. We make it thatway because of the whole players 1,3,5,7 teaming vs players 2,4,6,8 thing but in actuality purple esp AoE2 DE purple is a cool color.

We don't have such tools available. We've been monitoring players rating and progress hourly to catch any abnormalities. This is an attempt to have some security in place, but we're not gonna pretend it's perfect.

Is it possible to offer to act as a lower seed? I just don't want Heresy B to play Heresy A. But at the same time I don't want to artificially lower our rates.

Unfortunately, we will not interfere with the seeding.

Amazing how many 17xx/18xx players raised their 1v1 skill over night into 19xx/2k with 10+ streaks, we need this kind of qualification more often then we will get 50 new vipers soon

The sad part is that Skittle could make that 1.9/2.k but Aoe2.net says he only has 86 1v1 games and not played last two days. And I am not being sarcastic I think that nC players have the skills and level to get multiple ppl to the top 50 and top 100 1v1, esp Skittle. He shouldnt be at 1700.

It's incredible how close the teams around the cutoff are. Maybe it's a bit crazy, but i honestly would love to see a short prequalifier (15-18th or even 13th-20th) for the actual qualifier round 11

i still think a pre-qualifyer between #9-#24 seeds to fight who will go to the "main qualifyer" would be amazing

Im strating to think the same. If there is enough time to make those series. Win in the first round would guarantee plave in the Gold league in the second when top 8 join would guarantee place in the main event.
