==============================================================================
Tournament Format:
1. Single Elimimation Qualification Stage (8 teams, 1 weekend)
If you lose a set, you are out - if you win two, you play in the main event.
2. Swiss Format Group Stage (8 teams, 5 weeks)
Week 1: Best vs worst, second best vs second worst, third best vs third worst, fourth best vs fourth worst team.
Week 2 - 5: Teams with the same number of series wins and losses play each other. If more than two teams have the same score, the first aim is to match teams that haven't met before. If there are too many or not enough teams with equal score, pairings will be determined using the seeding model already used in round 1. Fixtures will be announced each week before Tue 9 GMT.
If a team wins 3 sets they advance to the KO stage - if they lose 3 they are eliminated from the tournament.
3. Single Elimination KO stage (4 teams, 2 weeks)
If you lose a set, you are out of the tournament.
Seeding for the semi finals will be based on the performance of the teams in the group stage: Best team vs worst team, second vs third best team.
"Best" is the team with the least amounts of games needed to advance. If two teams have the same number of games they will be sorted by their head-to-head result. If they didn't play each other their tournament seeds will decide the order.

Map Bugs
If one or more of your starting units (scouts, horses, villagers, depending on map) or starting resources (berries, golds, stones, boars, deer, sheep, depending on map) are stuck inside a forest (less than 50% accessible by at least 3 tiles) or missing in parts or completely you can restart the game for free in the first 4 minutes.

Tournament Rules:
Teams
Any team must have a non-offensive name and between 3 and 4 players.
Adding or removing players after the sign up deadline can only happen with special permission from the admin.
Names and Colors
All players must use their best known nickname and some form of clan tag in all games. The colors they started and finished the first game of each set with must be used for all the games in the same set.
The first two game sets played with wrong colors or names will lead to official warnings. Each infringement after that will lead to a 5% deduction in prize money for the teams.
Game version and players responsibility
All games must be played on Voobly using the latest rated version of the WololoKingdoms mod. It's the player responsibility to make sure the mod is installed correctly and works properly.
If games can't be played or casted because one player used a bad and / or outdated version of the game / mod the result won't be accepted.
Seeding / Spot in the tournament
All teams that sign up for the tournament will be given a tournament rating using a combination of current and highest achieved rating on the "RM - Team Games" ladder from all of their players the moment the sign ups close. Therefore it's essential to sign up with not only your best known but also highest rated account.
Each player that hasn't played at least 10 rated team games on any tournament map in the month leading up to the event will get a rating penalty of -100 (-10 points for each missing game).
After the deadline has passed the 6 highest rated teams will be granted a spot in the tournament and will be seeded using the same system. Teams 7-14 will play for the remaining two spots in a qualifier on the weekend before the official start of the tournament. If you want to improve your seeding position or chances of making it into the event or qualifier, improve your RM team game rating.
Scheduling / Waiting time
Every round will last 1 week, meaning each team has 1 week to schedule and play the games before the deadline of the round which is the following Monday, 23:59 GMT. You must provide all available times as early and schedule as efficient as possible throughout the whole week in order to get the games played in time. Because of the format any delayed set would delay the whole tournament. Therefore no extra time will be granted for any team. If both teams can't agree on a time the guys that offered more reasonable times and/or replied earlier to the scheduling topic will advance.
The Semi Finals and Grand Final must be played on the weekend (Saturday, Sunday). The tournament admin will work with the players to find a time that works for both of them and the broadcasters.
Once you and your opponents confirmed a time the maximum wait time is 30 minutes. More than that, the team that showed up and is waiting must take a screenshot showing the World Time Server (so the current time is clearly visible) and Tournament Lobby Game Room, and post the screenshot in the scheduling topic where the game time was arranged and confirmed.
Communicating with spectators / streamers / viewers & other forms of cheating
You must not communicate with any spectator, streamer or viewer while playing and are expected to be using the "do not disturb" setting on Voobly. If you don't and receive any outside information, you will forfeit the set 0-3.
Graphic changes and Voobly mods are allowed but the use of any other third party software to influence the game is stricly forbidden and will result in immediate disqualification.
Streaming & spectating
In theory anybody is welcome to cast, analyse or watch any game of the tournament. If you are allowed into the room depends on the individual, how, when and who he's asking and the people competing / working in the room at the time.
If you would like to spectate a game, please be prepared to show up ahead of the game's start time and ask for the password. If a game is already in progress at the time you show up, do not message the players or streamers on Voobly, Twitch or any other medium.
Always remember and act accordingly: Spectating is a privilege, not a right.
The players can request for a spectator delay of up to 5:00 minutes and kick spectators but no team will be allowed to refuse the presence of an official streamer (see other topic) who has identified himself as such AND is LIVE on Twitch or any other streaming platform. Official tournament streamers must display the tournament banner in their stream / video at all times when not spectating or playing in game. If they don't, they won't be allowed to cover games live.
Any player is allowed to stream his point of view but must use a minimum stream delay of 8 minutes to guarantee no outside influence on the outcome of the game.
Recorded Games / VOD
All matches must be recorded and played on the VCOM Ladder. The tournament admin will post recorded games or available streaming broadcasts in the sub forum linked above.
Prize money
Prize pool and money distribution can be viewed here.
If your teams gets dropped from the tournament for not scheduling properly, not showing up to a match or cheating you won't get prize money.
Misc
Any rule can be added/modified at any time as seen fit by a tournament mod. If anything is removed, added or changed, there will be a note at the bottom of the post and the latest change will be colored.
The admin of this tournament is swissboyy and swissboyy only. Any message or order given to the players by any other party should be ignored and must not be used as the basis of any decision you make.
