They mention the Rise of Rome DLC separately, and also specifically mention balance changes for AoE2, so feels pretty safe that there is a "huge patch" and the AoE1 portWon't this just be the AoE1 which will be introduced in the aoe2 engine? That was announced a while ago iirc, with that band that sang songs for a few hours.
At least that's what I'd think, it's also been a while since that announcement, so I don't remember everything anymore.
Have you tried using your bans to ban the maps you don't like? Or are all 7 1v1 maps and all 9 TG maps black forest or Michi? Are these sadistic tirants finally going to let me pick maps or do I have to keep putting up with amazon forest, michi, black forest and arena when I just want to play an open map.
Are you seriously suggesting that not getting your favorite map in a ****ing video game makes you want to murder innocent people?I'm not in favor of loose gunlaws but everytime I end up getting a disliked map I get these intrusive thoughts of storming into a HQ somewhere to shoot up some devs.
Not so funny when your average game dev gets more scorn, hate and death threats than actual big time public criminals do.
It's in the link you posted, just scroll down:Is this that patch you were Talking about? https://www.ageofempires.com/news/age-of-empires-ii-definitive-edition-update-78174/
Kinda underwhelming tbh
It was announced on 25 October, so it's only been 4 months. They've likely been working on it for much longerAh Return of Rome. Well devs have kept us hooked for a long time, when was it announced that they were working on it again? I can't remember, but most DLCs were released in the span of 6-7 months, and it's about time they pick this up. The last DLC was released in April 2022 and it's March 2023, almost a year. I wonder if there's a discussion thread for what to expect
