I hope they don't mean the biggest crashing patch ever, cause they have been making some progress over the years.

Jokes aside, i guess they are changing the UI and minimap channel size with some other changes in the menu in order to keep it like the one from consoles, for the balance well, probably more nerfs to aztecs and more buffs to hindustanis and +3 PA to obuch to compensate latest nerfs.

They mention the Rise of Rome DLC separately, and also specifically mention balance changes for AoE2, so feels pretty safe that there is a "huge patch" and the AoE1 port

Have you tried using your bans to ban the maps you don't like? Or are all 7 1v1 maps and all 9 TG maps black forest or Michi?

I'm not in favor of loose gunlaws but everytime I end up getting a disliked map I get these intrusive thoughts of storming into a HQ somewhere to shoot up some devs.

How will they feed their family when they fail to fix game bugs and have to keep getting paid to not fix them.

I can't remember, but most DLCs were released in the span of 6-7 months, and it's about time they pick this up. The last DLC was released in April 2022 and it's March 2023, almost a year. It was announced on 25 October, so it's only been 4 months. They've likely been working on it for much longer
