Hi there,
There are a lot of team games decided by sharp gameplay, map exploiting, team coordination or powerful civ combinations but seeing games decided by out of the box team strategies excecuted to perfection is a rare thing. In this thread I would like to gather team games that fall in the that category and I will start by giving my first 2 examples.
A. Secret vs LoS on Acropolis (ECL Europe East 4v4)
First game on the video
B. TyRanT vs Aftermath on Steppe (BoA finals)
First game on the video, but the strategies for all the maps are excellent
There are other games that also come to mind like the Finland vs Spain game on Nomad for WC2 or again Finland vs AM on Chas Pit for ECL East Asia 4v4, where Rubenstock does Rubenstock stuff.
If there is any game that comes to mind please post it here so we can easily keep a record.

LoS did a brilliant double sling to the Mayan player, who istead of going for the obvious plumed archer option, opted for eagles catching the Secret players by surprise and wreaking havoc on the enemy bases. The double sling then shifted towards the Khmer player, who introduced elite battle elephants in the field, forcing the Secret members to resign. One of the most beautiful games I've seen.
B. TyRanT vs Aftermath on Steppe (BoA finals)
First game on the video, but the strategies for all the maps are excellent
TyRanT with an unorthodox idea on an unorthodox map. In that version of steppe sheep are absent, forcing players to move towards the deer packed center of the map. TaToH playing as Persians starts with a very early drush with the intention to deny/harass the center hunters. He then follows this up with a sling towards the Portugese and Chinese player respectivelly, allowing his team to get a significant military lead in the game. Also noteable is the team's idea on placing the starting TC next to the straggler treas, allowing for a faster mill placement in the center and early eco boost. Games 2 (Donut) and 4 (Beachfight) are also very interesting.
