For me, Nili + DauT was the best cast so far

Most entertaining were DauT + FiRe, Mbl + Liereyy, Nili + viper and Jordan + DauT

OrnLu has been a nice addition this year.

Best caster without a doubt is Jordan. He can talk for days, is entertaining and has the expertise.

 

BBQ plus memb... How hype can you get?? They bring it to a new level.

Nili has a shall we say.. Unique sense of humor when he casts with viper. And it took me awhile to get used to it (hint, literally every word is a joke). But I never laughed so hard at aoc until the viper burns, the Nili retorts and the salt piled up on each other.

I have to say the fresh (or is it frech?) casting is a treat.

Jordan & Daut was horrible. Ruined whole series like Daut & Fire. Its not like there were "casting" a random community game, it was MBL vs Nicov. WTF??? Sometimes they let NAC2 look like a joke tourney...

In my humble opinion it´s just a matter of taste. Anyway, Ornlu and BBQ... what a great surprise for me. Glad to see you casting guys!, I´ve never watched you streaming and now I really enjoyed it. You are a great combo because of how you complement each other, Ornlu a bit more calm and game analyzer trying to predict things (that is also very cool) meanwhile BBQ adds the touch of spicy and fluency a cast requires.
Also JorDan casting it´s very interesting because of his versatility. It is amazing how he mix the appropriate and necessary analysis of games and jokes.
Despite having some troubles knowing nili´s hotkeys setup for casting, I think MbL and Lierrey wasn´t that bad. For a group stage match it was interesting indeed. MbL commented some interesting things about the game in general ( for example the need for start building barracks before 60% procces to feudal age if you go sc for making stable on time) sounds silly but this kind of details are good to hear.

We've been totally spoiled for good casting in this tournament thus far: and I really feel like the pro casters are delivering some of their best performances I've seen. I think Memb+Jordan has been the most magic combo for me so far (I'd never have guessed they'd make such a great pairing). As for pure player casting, MBL and Liereyy was my favourite. Plus, BBQTurkman seems to be the best at interviewing, and has great synergy with whoever he's paired with as a caster.

On the other hand the "drunk" casts really didn't do anything for me: though I appreciate the fun of NAC is that we get to witness all sorts of casting and play, and that some people find this funny. I do hope, though, that as the tournament moves on into its higher stakes elimination phase that future casts will take the games sufficiently seriously.

Ornlu is very good caster and i promise myself i will watch his streams more often after NAC but i have to say sometimes im watching streams for fun and was glad to see dauts drunk with his funny face. That guy is a legend of this game amd still very Good Player and good guy

If I remember correctly Nili said that JorDan and Memb will cast Liereyy vs Viper/DauT.

Edit: I also enjoy Nili and OrnLu casting together. They seem to have great chemistry together.

jordan is natural talent in casting, ironically , the top 2 player in 3 years ago are actually the top 2 caster in my heart

jordan would be best partner with memb, memb is very enegitic but sometimes tunnel vision which make him easily miss some important fight , jordan is a very good supplement to memb

Many great casting pairs so far. Personally i enjoyed the trollish ones like mbl/larry or jordan/daut more because i can follow the game on my own for the most part.

I will say tho that memb's ability to adapt to the co caster is spot on and he seemed entertaining with anyone. I especially liked memb with jordan because a pro co caster brings alot to the table.

I usually enjoy nili's casting but i wasn't a fan of the cast with viper. I like sarcastic/dry humour as much as the next guy but it was wayyyy too much here.

Would love to see nili cast the finals with memb as the co caster. Nili has good game knowledge and memb can bring alot of energy to the cast, which is essential for a grand finals. Looking forward to it regardless!

100% agree with this assessment. There's a reason why in TV casts you have the "play by play" announcer and the "analyst". The former is usually the communications degree and the latter is the former player, or expert.

This is why I like @Turkman so much. He's more of the play by play guy and he 100% knows how to ebb and flow with the other caster. When you're "the other guy" knowing when not to talk is just as important as what you say.

The 1st semi casting of Ornku + BBQ feels so stale for the semifinal of a mega event. It feels like they are casting random rated game.
