Hey guys,
I've been a long time vegetable fan but lately I feel like some vegetables have gotten a certain edge over other. I'd like to hear what the community thinks.
I'd like to hear which vegetable needs an adjustment.
Personally I feel like the tomato is the most overrated vegetable around. It's even hard to determine whether the tomato is a fruit or a vegetable. Regardless, I feel like the tomato is used too much in dishes. It tastes very generic, it doesn't really add anything to a dish.
A tomato usually leaves too many fluids to enjoy it.
Disclaimer: I'm talking from a Western European PoV.
