Ayre Masters Series II: Arabia - $500 Tournament

The time has come for the Ayre Pro Tour to move on to its next leg. Players have fought many battles upto this point across a variety of different challenges they have been faced with. But now it is time for something a bit more familiar to the players.

Welcome everyone to the second running of the Ayre Masters Series. The first edition gave us some great golden gameplay, this time, we are getting dusty. In this edition we will be taking the players to the sands of Arabia. The Ayre Masters Series II: Arabia will take place on April 29th - May 1st and will feature 8 top level competitors fighting to be dubbed “Master”.

This tournament will be a 2 stage event that will include a single elimination qualifier followed by a single elimination main stage. Ayre Masters Series II will be open to all players to sign up with the top 20 players being eligible to participate. The top 4 of those 20 will be seeded directly to the main stage while the rest will face off in the qualifier.

As this is a tier 3 event on the APT calendar. There are a maximum of 100 APT circuit points on offer, along with a nice $500 prize pool. The points and prizes will be distributed as follows;

1st - 100pts, $250 USD
2nd - 75pts, $150 USD
3rd/4th - 50pts, $50 USD
5th/8th - 30pts
Eliminated Qualifier Round 2 - 10pts
Eliminated Qualifier Round 1 - 0pts

Signups will be open until April 9th at 23:59 GMT with the first round of qualifiers commencing on April 11th.
The main event will be broadcasted live at www.twitch.tv/ayre_aoe on April 29th - May 1st.

During the qualifiers, yes players will be allowed to POV stream. During the grand finals they will also be allowed to POV stream because the games will be live. But because the quarter and semi finals are going to be recorded game casts, players will not be allowed to stream their pov during those matches.

I would love to have all games be live thus allowing players to POV stream the entire event but to avoid clashes with other tournaments on similar dates, this is the compromise we had to make.
