Aussie Open - OFFICIAL RULES |
1. General Rules |
- Games must be played within the scheduled times.
- Everyone must treat their opponents with respect.
- All players must agree to the No Smurf rule. Each player must submit all relevant usernames for Admin discussion, and to accurately create seeding. Smurfing and account sharing is not allowed.
- All games are by default to be played in the Voobly Tournament Lobby using the VCOM Ladder
- Upon completion of match, all recorded games must be posted according to the rules and post them in the Recorded Games section of that respective round.
- Before posting, the recorded game files must be renamed in the following format:
Game naming examples:
Aussie Open Div A Group 3 BearGrylls (vs) Wild_Nature G1 .mgz
Aussie Open Div B Semi Final BearGrylls (vs) Wild_Nature G4 .mgz
Aussie Open WB Final BearGrylls (vs) Wild_Nature G5 .mgz
- Additional time to complete your games will NOT be allowed unless with clear prior agreement from admins.
- Once two Players have arranged and confirmed a time to play, the maximum waiting time is 30 minutes. If one of the Players fails to arrive, the waiting player must take a screenshot showing http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx (so the current time is clearly visible) with the Tournament Lobby Game Room, and post the screenshot in their scheduling topic. Example. This way, tournament admins will know how long the player waited and upon Admins decision, the player that did not come might get an Admin Loss for the games. Do not try to edit time arrangement posts in an attempt to get free wins, because our forum registers the exact date and hour of each edited post. Such actions are considered cheating, and the offender will be punished according to rules.
- In case of disconnections, the game must be saved and restored. All of the .mgz recorded game files (multiple parts of the game before/after drop) must be provided when posting the recorded games.
If restoring is not possible, the recorded game should be provided, along with any additional information to the Administration instantly. Subsequently, facts will be analyzed and a final decision made.
- If a game is not recorded, it must be replayed regardless of result and evidence of it.
- By signing up for the tournament you agree to have all your games streamed and casted by the official streamers through using the Spectator Mode on Voobly, brought by the Userpatch 1.4 RC version. Players are not allowed to refuse the presence of an Official Streamer or Tournament Admin if they make themselves known and are live at the time. Spectators are allowed with both players permission and a minimum Spectator Delay of 1:30 will be enforced, but may be increased up to 5:00. Players are not allowed to speckick and/or launch the next game until any streamers have come back from the current game.
- New rules can be added and current rules can be changed. However, Admins MUST inform the players about such changes. Some changes maybe necessary while live and will be highlighted in the lobby. The changes will also be highlighted on this topic as a post reply. All the latest additions in Rules / Settings will be in red.
- This tournament is in no way affiliated with Voobly.com, this tournament and any recorded games produced by it are free to be streamed by anyone at any time with no restrictions or demand placed on those persons.
