Arent you dev?If only devs knew how much coding I have to do to replicate these bonuses in the Community Patch, they would leave the numbers alone. Thank God I saw this thread, I was about to start coding the Gurjara one at 50 %

Ruining? Bro those nerfs are not even worthy to call them nerfs. Literally all these civs are still broken and need more nerfs. Thanks for ruining archers, gurjaras, hindustanis, Sicilians and burgundians
i mean depends how you look at it. yes two mills will generate more food, but you also have to spend another 100 wood for that mill. do i think they should just scrap that part of the change? yes. but regardless, at least to get the extra food they need to spend more wood.they're getting buffed instead of nerfed
The new returns are larger or equal to the previous returns. Even for a single mill. Sounds like a buff to me.i mean depends how you look at it. yes two mills will generate more food, but you also have to spend another 100 wood for that mill. do i think they should just scrap that part of the change? yes. but regardless, at least to get the extra food they need to spend more wood.
only for 1 sheep. if you put 8 sheep in 1 mill you get the same as you did before. The new returns are larger or equal to the previous returns. Even for a single mill. Sounds like a buff to me.
For standard maps. On maps with more herdables its a nerf. The new returns are larger or equal to the previous returns. Even for a single mill. Sounds like a buff to me.
Yes but if you have 2 mills with 4 each you get way more. Now you don't even need to lure deer any more you just mill berry and deer and have way more food from the bonus.only for 1 sheep. if you put 8 sheep in 1 mill you get the same as you did before.
It's 100 wood for additional almost 20 food/minute compared to 1 mill configuration, in early feudal it has already paid off.i mean depends how you look at it. yes two mills will generate more food, but you also have to spend another 100 wood for that mill. do i think they should just scrap that part of the change? yes. but regardless, at least to get the extra food they need to spend more wood.
I heard it was only 36% more food per minute (so roughly 8 food per minute), if its really that high it needs to be nerfed before it goes live. It's 100 wood for additional almost 20 food/minute compared to 1 mill configuration, in early feudal it has already paid off.
Yeah I messed up calculation, it's actually less than I thoughtI heard it was only 36% more food per minute (so roughly 8 food per minute), if its really that high it needs to be nerfed before it goes live.
Sicilians are mid tier at best the rest your correctRuining? Bro those nerfs are not even worthy to call them nerfs. Literally all these civs are still broken and need more nerfs.
I agree that Sicilians winrate is not that much however, the 50% less bonus damage is insnanely super broken and OP, counters do nothing and the nerf was really justified, I even said before that the bonus should be deleted not only nerfed because it breaks the balance and kill the counter play completely. Sicilians are really weird civ and until now I don't find a single explanation why the civ have bad winrate?!Sicilians are mid tier at best the rest your correct
do better researchI'm not sure, don't think mill is the issue of Gurjaras,
And what I should do about it? That is better than most thought? That was obvious by playing them, answer to that nonsense question "is it worth to send sheeps to mill?" was obvious after playing them and getting easier to other ages. And I hate them with passion and gurjara pickers. However I still don't think is their main issue, it's too strong? Maybe, but their units are too boosted still. But yes, I long ago said they are similar as byzantines, just with better counters and with good eco boost. And I think most agree they got nerfed not enough.
They have a bad win rate bc yes the bonuses are strong but they are meme bonuses at best and you cannot counter arbalest in imperial or bbc or any gunpowder also while first crusade is strong in early castle age redemption monks are basically GG I'm fine with the reduced bonus damage but try em out b4 you say they are broken 11I agree that Sicilians winrate is not that much however, the 50% less bonus damage is insnanely super broken and OP, counters do nothing and the nerf was really justified, I even said before that the bonus should be deleted not only nerfed because it breaks the balance and kill the counter play completely. When you read their bonuses, literally every single bonus they have is broken. 100% build faster castles and TCs, 300 stone, 1st crusade, Hauberk, 50% less damage. It is just insane and weird how this civ have broken bonuses and at the sametime their winrate is bad?!
Jesus christ lighten up a little.here is how i think the meta will be changed, people going for archers will get countered by mbl style using skirms, after losing lots of games like that they would change their strat to make knights, the guys making skirms will change to monks, at the end everybody is going to make defensive units while booming or playing like hoang as it seems the only way to break that meta.
No archers have bonus damage vs infantry except plumed archers and hand cannoneers.Because the main role of archers is countering infantry. That's why they are a bit faster and have bonus damage against infantry.
As long as you don't consider pikes infantry...No archers have bonus damage vs infantry except plumed archers and hand cannoneers.
pikes are in the spearman and infantry armour class, the bonus is against spearman class, not infantry classAs long as you don't consider pikes infantry...
This fits with their identity as a defensive civ with strong buildings. Not sure why they didn't have it in the first place. Probably was mainly intended as a buff for them in Deathmatch rather than RMSomeone missed it but is reported that Byzantines now have treadmill crane.
