I was listening to the Business of Esports podcast interview with Steve Arhancet, and in the "get to know you" segment he said that is favorite current game is Age of Empires IV.
Now I am not suggesting that his personal opinion of the game is important in itself. It is more whether his opinion as co-CEO of Team Liquid is important. TL has teams in 21? games (getting an accurate number is surprisingly difficult; I pulled this one from wikipedia). Is this comment a signal, or just noise?
Also, he had an interesting (to me) definition of Esports: a game you enjoy watching as much as you enjoy playing. That's why there is no CoD or Overwatch TL team. Thoughts?
