This week in AoCZone news:

A player under the name KoreaOfheaVEN
has surpassed the 2k bar in just over 60 games.
Typically playing with Asian players, and being
from the proper timezone, there is no reason to
believe that this is anyone other than the one
and only Arch_Koven, a former AoC champion.
Koven gained his fame in 2001 winning the
WCG crown over Grunt and then winning the
Arbalet Cup over Chris in 2002.
This could be a sign of some big things to
come, but Koven has another job and was last
known to have retired from AoC as a serious
competitor. The recent improvements as well
as the continued support for this game could
be what bring him back. Let us all hope that
something will convince this old pro to climb
to the top to challenge the current holders
of Koven's old titles.
Viper and Jordan are both practicing up
for the Maldives championship in October.
This requires a lot of practice games and
there are so many good games that I could
not even begin to describe them without
writing another 10 pages, instead, just watch here
