It would be a variety of balanced rush maps. No pure boom or pure grush maps.
It would also be using a game fairness and civ balance patch (things like making korea stronger and hun/az/vik weaker). it would not be 1.0c with a couple civ wars...
games would still be played through voobly
I can guarantee a modest prize pool (probably WCL7-like in terms of prizes for the time investment, maybe more) if there's sufficient interest. The settings would require more skill overall with greater emphasis on strategic decision-making and less on flawless execution. That combined with a metagame reset would probably open the door for a lot of people to win.
The goal is to showcase what the RTS genre is really about + spread the word about AoC (so that it becomes more active). The game needs better balance + variety + strategy + pacing before that can happen.
