Very happy to announce that the King of Americas II is opening sign-ups right now!
After the huge success of First Edition with over 300K unique views in Youtube in total, we bring a 32-player Edition, with a 600 U$D prizepool.

In order to sign-up you have to have been born in a spanish-speaking country and / or speak spanish fluently. (If you received a PM inviting you, disregard this message! ).


All sign-ups that don't fit this exact criteria, will be looked at individually and see if they would still make sense to participate.

Hi mate! First KoA we had Dogao , who I'll be talking personally to see if he has interest in participating (I invited F1re and Miguel in KoA I who didn't want to participate)!

Other than that, it's actually called King of Americas because of the maps (and first edition the civs), just like Battle of Africa is not exclusive to african players :D

But as crove mentioned, we will be looking at each sign-up individually

Sure, but I feel more than a few American, Canadian and/or Brazilian players (maybe Mr. Greed from Portugal as well) would like to join and would feel this is a bit of a slap in the face :P Language needn't be an issue, someone could most likely translate the interviews and/or help schedule. All this being said, your tournament, your rules! Hopefully it'll bring in some exciting games, particularly now that there are more civs in the mix.

This is a spanish-speaking event made for spanish-speaking community. Thing is, there are many people this community love, and one of those guys is Hoang. People also like BacT very much and that`s why he was invited for first edition.

These are indeed arbitrary rules, but we are seeking for latin American-spanish players, who are actually the same country as the viewers, so they can relate, and get to know pros from their country in order to be able to support them, if they please! I hope I don`t offend anyone from any other country by organizing this, if someone feels he really wants to participate and doesn`t fit the criteria, we still can have a chat, I`m very reachable in Discord <3

Interesante el concepto del torneo, aunque igual se debería considerar a los otros países, creo que un titulo más apropiado seria "King of Excolonies of Spain" si fuera el caso, suerte en el torneo y que todo salga bien !
