Hello,

I’m kinda surprised in our community it seems not many are anime/mangas fans, in others games a lot ppl watch anime etc and i can talk with them about anime all the time... with who I can talk anime/manga here ?


Who is watching kimetsu no yaiba(demon slayer) for exemple ? Or snk

They won't always admit to it. Some of them are afraid of admitting to who they are, but they exist. And they are everywhere.

Also Kimetsu no Yaiba easily a contender for AOTY
And it's kind of insane, given how the manga could actually be considered worse than the anime itself, which is something that happens extremely rarely

11 when I was kid I was running like naruto, even at school. Ppl was looking at me wierd

I most of the time dont read manga sadly I rather watch directly when it come on anime, with soundtrack etc that make even more emotion.

It's probably not unless you stop after the 1st season
Tokyo Ghoul, sadly, went rather downhill after that

I got into Battle Angel Alita after watching the movie. Never been into manga before, but damn the manga is cool. I'd be interested in full metal alchemist, but don't really have the time. Man, manga is expensive though.

In manga I bought only have dragon ball dbz and naruto, all others I did read scan for free in internet, you can’t read scan ?

I can, but it isn't the same, at least with Alita. It was the older version and I found the drawings hard to distinguish and found going through the pages to be cumbersome. Plus I love paper. I borrowed from the library, though, but they don't have so much.

Personally I'm a huge fan of the Gintama Anime. The anime is really great and funny. I also like the Manga "The Promised Neverland" at the moment. You should really try it out if you didn't read it.

I haven't rly read/watched anything in like a decade except for re-watching Death Note recently since it's on Netflix, but actually thinking about getting back into it, since Netflix has so many animes now

Full Metal Alchemist is really good - first half of Naruto was good, same can be said about Bleach. One Piece has its moments. But overall I find most mangas Iv read have a hard time finishing as strong as they start... FMA is really good all way through though.

It's a trap. It was good until season 3 made it confusing as hell. I have not watched season 4 yet.

Berserk is a work of art (manga wise). Season 1 and the 3 arcs were the best thing ever... the amount of life lessons learnt and the amount of things you can compare to reality is just great. I would strongly recommend season 1... and seasons 2-3 if you are interested in the story. Because the animation stunk but the story was still accurate.

Attack on titan is probably the best manga, along with one punch man.

Gantz was super twisted and really messy if you are into that stuff. Sad the anime never finished but the manga is really well done.

FMA brotherhood was just simply amazing. Deathnote was pure genius. Monster will hit you hard and The promised neverland. Dr. Stone is an intelligent anime too.

Demon slayer is actually really good!! The beginning was really sad and even as you watch, it just shows that you should never give up no matter what you go through, to live life and appreciate it at its fullest and to protect your close ones.

Damn. I can go on forever about anime.... I love it

Zuviss I'd +1 the previous recommendations of Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood (not to be confused with Fullmetal alchemist, which was made before but differs greatly) I recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it
Steins:gate is one of my all time favourites and fairly recently (last year) the second season came out - some people will recommend reading the VN first but they're both equally good
Cowboy bebop and Samurai Champloo are both very popular for a reason, though I prefer the latter. Both of them build around a central cohort of characters, learning more about them as the series progress. Good soundtracks
Made in Abyss is stunning for an adventure/fantasy/mystery though it starts out quite slow the last episodes are gripping
Erased if you want something with less action more focused around a mystery and playing with the idea of time travel
Log Horizon and Re: Zero would be my two recommendations for the "isekai" style, I preferred the latter
One Punch Man is hilarious but I think it works best as a satire of anime itself, so it may not be as funny if you haven't watched a great deal
If you're interested in Fate at all Unlimited blade works is the way to go, its really well animated and is the least confusing to start with (imo)
Psycho-pass is great for crime / mystery (though the first season is far better than the second) similarly Black lagoon is quite a dark anime which focuses on a group of mercenaries and is good if you like action-crime style. It's also a fair bit more violent that any of my other recommendations

Tokyo ghoul season 1 was great I'd recommend watching it, season 2 (root a) is also pretty good and worth watching if you enjoyed S1. As a whole tokyo ghoul re season was a huge disappointment and felt very very rushed (I believe they changed studio?). The manga is really well drawn but I lost interest in the much latter stages.
I'm glad to hear demon slayer is good i think i'm going to watch that next

I have mainly read manga but I have watched a good amount of animes as well.
My favorite manga/anime is probably Shingeki No Kyujin/Attack on Titan, its still going and so far I think it´s amazing.

Next tier for me would probably be something like Death Note, Hunter x Hunter and such and well the big three (Naruto, one piece and bleach) are also good but I think as I have grown older they appeal a bit less to me, and also they are very long so there are ups and downs in the quality. Dragonball could probably also be mentioned amongst those. Oh yeah and Full metal Alchemist Brotherhood is good as well indeed.

Some other I have liked are Code Geass, its very dramatic, maybe a bit over the top but I find it pretty good, then there is One Punch Man of course, and Hajime no Ippo (gotta have time if you start reading the manga though :P).

Then I have read/watched some that arent mentioned here and that I find pretty good like Kingdom, Darwins Game and then My hero Academia which Im a bit surprised no one has mentioned, I personally find it a bit overrated but thats only because some people really love it, while I find it just decent.

As a child I also watched and read Shaman King and Yu-Gi-Oh and I thought they were good back then, but not sure how much I would like them now.
