Love how he said that all the GL team were around to help him plan for the final. I am sure Viper will feel a bit better about his loss now, that his team mate took the title.

What a weekend of AOE the players gave us, thanks Redbull, I watched way more hours than I had time for, but every minute worth it in the end.

One Peev I have is that the casting duo of T90/Dave did not give enough "Spotlight" in the postgame show for Daut to bask in. The discussion kept going back to his lack of results in earlier tournaments and what he did differently.

I’m a huge fan of Liereyy’s gameplay and think he’s the best player I’ve ever seen, at least on open maps, so I’m pretty stunned by the result.

I wish I could say Lierey made certain mistakes that he normally wouldn’t make or picked bad strategies... something that would help explain the result but honestly I don’t even think he did much wrong. Daut just had a great draft with great strategies and executed nearly perfectly. He earned it. Congrats to him and it’ll be exciting to see if he can build on this result

You can be a viper fan, lierrey fan, a hera fan but all of you secretly are a daut fan.. viper,lierrey and hera themselves maybe.. the story of Daut is incredible, its like a the OG champion coming up against all odds to win a tough tough competition and how he does this, relies on strategies when all the talk is around Micro, skills,APM etc in the scene. This performance is the absolute pinnacle of RTS.

Daut shows the meaning of S in RTS and he puts the Age in AOC has no meaning or maybe its for all ages.. Congratulations Darko!!!
