The real reason is that Argentina was too arrogant and underestimated Norway. I don't think they really needed to "study" Norway's games. They have 2.3K players on their team, who can easily figure out the Viper sling strategy. They caused a huge delay by rejecting an admin decision and "agreed" playing the remaining games on the next day. In that time, Norway could have played games that were delayed for Monday. And don't say "it was only one game", the time was still reserved thinking 2 games shall be played.
All that does not even matter at this moment. If Argentina felt so "hurt" about Norway scheduling they could have brought it up right after they lost 2 games or even earlier . The truth is they underestimated Norway again thinking they cannot win vs China B.
Coming to team strength, do not give this BS about Norway fielding their strongest team in all the games. They won 1 and lost 1 4v4 with Patin playing as the 4th Argentina A player. The 3v3 played was Norway's choice, and that's not an "advantage", it is the format of the tournament. They allowed Fedex to sub for Patin in a restart game, which is also "against" the rules but Norway did not cry over this admin decision. This was clearly favouring Argentina, and not Norway. Argentina had their strongest team with Nicov, Juan, Fedex, and Gary for game 4. They still lost, due to a poor strategy. Even with Patin in the 4v4 games, they had a much stronger team on paper compared to Norway. Don't cry over your failures and try to take credit away from Norway's awesome performance. 8-)
Let's look at the China B games for team strength purposes. China B could have won game 2 and 3 (especially game 3) but again a poor choice of strategy and execution from China B leading to premature GG. Norway had a pretty weak team for the 3v3 in game 4 compared to China B with Viper, Lecture, and Never ever. We all thought they were going to lose after Lecture and Viper got landed. But again, Norway surprised all of us with their play. And not to mention, Norway did not have Sletten as their 3rd for China B games, so they were not fielding their strongest team.
Let's be honest about Brazil C, I do not think their strongest 4 could have taken 3 games from Norway A in 4v4s.
I have a lot of respect for you Gary, but please look at this from all perspectives, not only yours. Gary let's be honest, you would not have created this thread if Norway A lost vs Argentina A and China B, even if the games were played at the exact same times with the same players for each game. Think about it.
