DiogoHow can I get the timer at the top left of the screen ? I see other players with that time counting, but I don't have on my game.
Also, why can't I hear the voice on the campaign introductions? The age of Kings campaign is the only that I can hear the intro.

Probably because FE started as a fan modification
not like it's easy to get decent voice actors(or anybody capable of doing it for that matter) when you are just a...random fan

Srry for the ramblings but as a new player who just joined the community not long ago, who wands to go into Multiplayer after playing AI's for so many years I just wonder if its still viable to us new players.

Most of it should still be viable, but there are a few things that are outdated:
- If you play on DE you can play multiplayer there, so you can forget about voobly and gameranger. If you dont own DE you can play on voobly, or on the HD (now called 2013) version on steam. Most players there are very casual and the performance on voobly is way better, so voobly should be the better choice. gameranger should still exist but the playerbase is probably pretty small.
- on most standard maps you have 3 gold piles: 1 big pile with 7 tiles of gold and 2 smaller with 4 tiles each. i guess that was already the case back then, so its rather a mistake in the guide and not an outdated info
- the meta has changed quite a bit, most basic strategies should still work but are not that common anymore. Naked FC is not the standard in team games anymore, the pockets usually go for scouts now. FC is basically only used on closed maps like arena. Im a bit surprised the drush (dark age rush) is not mentioned in the strategies section here: basically you create 3 militia early to harass your opponent (which means you will need to gather 10 gold without building a mining camp so you have enough gold for 3 militia plus loom). This strategy is often used to buy enough time to wall yourself so you can go for a fast castle behind it (called drush FC) or you can also follow up with feudal play (usually archers). Men at Arms are also not mentioned, but they can be really strong in early feudal (create the militia on the way up to feudal and upgrade them as soon as you hit feudal). They are not too great in mid-late feudal, so you usually just create about 3 of them and then follow it up with something like archers. Spears and Skirms are usually used to counter the units your opponents make and shouldnt be the main part of your army in most cases. The Water meta probably changed the most with the expansions, the introduction of the fire galley changed a lot. Usually you dont go galleys in early feudal, fire galleys are way better. You can switch to galleys later if you can mass them, but in small numbers fire galleys are way better and also need less micro.
- of course the names of the experts have changed quite a bit, even tough some of the mentioned players like Daut, dogao and Tim are still top players but probably no Top5 contenders at the moment (and Tim is not the best Chinese player anymore, probably Number 3 or 4). I think a good starting point is to check some of the highest rated players on https://aoe2.net/#aoe2de-leaderboard-rm-1v1 or a pretty recent video by Nili where he talks about the top players https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbnK6FC-PY8
- Clans have changed quite a bit more, at the moment in my opinion Secret and aM are the best clans, followed by the "national teams" of Finland (Suomi), China (SY) and Vietnam (VNA/VNS)
