I understand the basics of pathfinding, but I still don't understand what you propose. That units can only apply this pathfinding in explored areas? But what if in Dark Age you send your scout to an unexplored corner of the map and on the route the scout stumbles upon a forest. Do you want the...
I don't know if I understand you correctly, but I think the fundamental problem is this: what we consider a 'base' is something we project onto the game, it is not an entity in the game itself. The same goes with a 'hole'. Something is a hole, because it is a small gap that let units go in and...
I agree with the sentiment that you should only be rewarded for something you have actually scouted. The problem is that the game cannot differentiate between a hole in the enemy wall, or an enemy base that is not walled at all. Then you should almost say that units can only enter an area that...
I actually have generally positive experiences with the TG ladder. Maybe it is because I play only 2v2's with my housemate, so I never have teammates quitting early. But I actually feel that most games are pretty balanced. Yes, sometimes there are smurfs, but only once every 30 games or so.
Give their siege a boost! I was thinking more attack for their mangonels, but that was recently given to Saracens (although only through an imp unique tech). So maybe their scorpions +25% attack?
I think there would be more drama if they gave team Villese an AW. Like someone in the chat of Memb suggested, I think a better solution is to give team Tatoh a choice out of 5 civs, or ban 5 civs that team Tatoh cannot choose. Or just let team Tatoh pick the civ they wanted in the first place...
I think because of their strong scout opening with the bonus damage reduction they compensate the lack of an early eco bonus. Maybe give them extra LOS on their lumbercamps/mills/mining camps(/houses?) as a team bonus instead of the one they have right now?
Most important thing is that they...
If the Burgundians don't have bloodlines, I don't think it will be that OP that they get cavalier in castle age. If I'm not mistaken cavalier only gives you +20 HP and + 2 attack. Without bloodlines, the only advantage you have over other generic civs is that + 2 attack. Yeah that is pretty...
