With regards to many games being stomps. Half the games in opening round is Seed 1/2 vs Seed 7/8 within each group. Next rounds will feature much closer sets - and decider round will ve brutal, cutthroat desert brawls…!
I like all the comments. I have no particular love for Cav Archers, so no reason to see them become OP. It just seems to me that they should be THE hit-and-run unit. Today they can’t do that. They are a quicker, tankier, more expensive, harder to mass archer.

My suggestion is to add a new element. Lets say that once Arson is researched, any building attacked by Longswords cannot function. You cannot drop res at camps, prod buildings cannot produce or research, houses do not give pop space. Only Stone buildings should not ve affected.

I like the idea of a showmatch between semis and finals. It avoids both the one player playing back to back sets, and it avoids adding another full day to the event with just a Final. Lets see how it goes. I’m hyped.
