I agree that castles are too OP in the castle age. Taking one down is nearly never worth it. Possible solutions:
Castles are more stone expensive in the castle age, and then a university tech lowers the cost in the imperial
Castle HP/arrows are worse in the castle age before improving in the...
Nili can't read the room.
Exclude AoEZone, go through the comments on his two Youtube videos on the announcement, look at his viewer numbers. What an objectively poor decision he has made.
3v3 is superior to 4v4 in almost every way I think. Easier to follow, more teams can be created, etc.
Not a fan of nations cup because the lack of inclusion of Daut/Lierrey, among others, who are personally my favorite players (and big draws overall).
This is my takeaway. Why does he not trust himself to play meta?
For how fast the competition's APM is, Viper's was also consistently among the highest in the tournament, and his game sense is unparalleled when playing meta. His strategies did not make sense to me yesterday whatsoever (staying...
Wouldn't a simple option be to modify Inca's other bonuses?
Add a second llama at the start or houses that add +15 pop space. Or both. But these seem like clear ways to help the civilization without much modification.

I don't see how this can be called "not that extremely impactful." The series went to the decider game. One player had two more home maps than the other player. The winner of the tournament won $10,000 more than a semi-finalist. The format was hugely impactful.
It isn't the job of the viewer to...
Was the tournament format ever commented on?
I'm not a Viper fan and Hera played so well, and still seemed disastrous to have Hera with three home maps to Viper's one home map in a best of 7.
Amazing! Super excited. Thanks Memb!
I don't know about for others, but for me 3v3 is the best team game format. 4v4 is chaotic for viewing and 2v2 doesn't involve as much team-based strategy.
This is what I liked in this event:
Super high-quality games! Viper/Yo was the highest quality set that I have seen. Mostly non-mirror matchups. Quick turnarounds between games. Overall positive casting, especially the player/caster pairings.
This is what made me tune in:
I watched NAC2 and...
