Haha I was just kidding, your original message summed up your feelings pretty well. I have noticed that dissenting voices are not tolerated on that stream though. Still probably the best (non player) analysis out there though.
I can understand why escape allowed live viewing and it was done to help the community but the fact that the games aren't played according to a structure means all the hype that would be generated from the games being live is somewhat lost.
By the sounds of it organising a player schedule is a...
Would you consider asking the live streamers to not add names to their titles and just state the round name instead? I think it would help keep the hype for the escape stream whilst not hindering the live streams either. Unless there's something else I'm not seeing
Thanks Memb! Always looking out the community.
I agree with live tournaments being better but at the moment - in my opinion - it doesn't look like there is any structure to when the games are played so it has been a bit difficult to follow.
The main issue here seems to be not being able to avoid spoilers for viewers wanting to watch the games on the weekend. Maybe a compromise can be made by live casters not including names of the players in their titles on twitch and youtube and only having the tournament / round number instead at...
I think there is a difference as The Kotd matches were still scheduled in a rigid way to have series follow on from each other and were played in a specific time window during Friday-Sunday. ECL games seem to be played at random times during the week so are harder to follow. I guess it's great...
Allowing everyone to cast the games live when they're played has completely ruined this tournament for me. I'd much prefer watching it in a single day on the escape channel rather than catching single games in random order on other channels.
Was hoping to watch the 1v1 semis and finals but i...
Indeed to each their own but for the life of me i struggle to understand how you can prefer pro casters explaining the game over an eloquent pro player, of which this community is blessed with many.
He stated already that he was mostly fine with it. 90% of the casting has been run professionally and everything else behind the scenes seems to be run far better than any aoe tournament I've watched before. It's your loss in the end in my opinion as the business end of the tournament will...
The Daut fire cast was great for the most part. It's nice to have a bit of variety even if their trollery was a bit excessive at times. It's not like the result was ever in doubt and the main points of the games were covered. Good time to put them up for the European late stream too. Nothing...
I know this situation has been resolved but this message comes across to me as T90 deeming it fine for other content creators to 'put their day to day life in jeopardy', or so to say where he benefits with 0% risk on his part compared with all the risk put on the tournament organisers. Memb...
