In a game/set that totally didn't matter. He went on to lose the game, with the caster marking going scouts as dravidians as one of the reasons it went wrong.
I get your point and wouldn't be opposed to a small nerf, but providing only half of the info isn't exactly helping
Of course it balances out over tourneys as well, the point I was trying to make was: try saying that to a player who might have just lost a lot of money/honor due to unlucky map generations. Your share of good maps might come in the Ro32 of a €300 tourney, and the bad ones during the finals of...
It balances out in the long run, on the ladder. But if you get 2 bad (or very good) maps in a Bo5 or Bo7... A certain amount of balance is definetely needed in those situations.
I believe in the finals of BoA2 there was also a game that got partly decided due to laming (colloseum I think?). I also think you can't really call it a high risk high reward strategy, every 2k+ player can pull it of easily.
