While my post might have been a useless joke, one post hardly derailed the thread in any way, and it was still technically about balance, while yours was just needless condescending forum-policing that had even less to do with the topic of the thread. Can you just get over the fact that I dont...
Imo they shouldnt do any balance changes, but instead focus on introducing some hilarious exploding units. Maybe like a monk that farts so hard it explodes and kills everyone around it?
It's called spontaneous combustion. They fart, and they die. And the players are laughing too hard to think about things like "realism" and "historical accuracy".
Fine, let's make a deal. They first balance the missionary, make it at least somewhat useful but still not OP. Then I promise I don't complain even if they add Pikachu and Charizard to the game.
As probably many of u know, theViper just revealed on his stream that Our Lord and Saviour, King DauT has been kicked out of team Secret based on "cheating allegations", but it wasn't very clear what he meant with that. Does anyone have any information what he actually meant by those...
But mangonels and scorpions were also never weird robots moving alone. Siege units in this game require a bit of imagination. Maybe you actually only really buy the bomb, and the guy kind tries to escape while blowing it up, and sometimes succeeds and sometimes not.
To me it always felt like...
But to clarify, it's not a question of historical accuracy. It's just that some old ppl dont like their favorite game being polluted by whatever brain farts the devs think might make the noobs giggle this time. Even if the units are balanced or downright bad, they are still there and make the...
I'm no history expert, but I did a quick google search, and "petard" instantly provided a wiki article of something remotely resembling the unit in aoe2. And the first thing "flaming camel" provided was this entry in the urban dictionary:
"Flaming camel: When you are having sex and you are...
I agree, and this only makes it more annoying tbh. You feel like a jerk if you strongly complain about something that doesnt really change the game itself much, just aesthetically looks and feels a totally meme unit.
I dunno, maybe I'm a grumpy old man, but they just look incredibly stupid and feel like the devs made a total joke of the game. Still kinda hoping it's an april fools' thing. Again, maybe I'm just a grumpy old man and they are actually supposed to be hilarious.
I just dont see why tournaments need to balance out bad days. Long life and long aoe career balances out bad days. In a single tournament, it is ok that the best player may lose sometimes.
Even though there is always some way of rigging any draw, the main reason to stream the draw is not that it would be 100,0% sure to be fair (even though it would of course increase the likelihood of it being fair), the main reason is that we probably wouldn't have to have this very inevitable...
I havent heard him, but still, if it was up to me, Nili would invite this guy to the next NAC instead of some caster I dont personally like. And he is probably not any worse player than, say, katsuni, who was one of the most legendary casters of all time. In the end, good casting is mostly just...
Nah, not every civ. But maybe a few more could be fun.
And I think harbors and khmer houses are kind of unique buildings, too, in addition to those you mentioned, even if they are technically not called "unique buildings".
I missed most of HC3 so I dont know what kind of stats they had there. But,
Some kind of top-lists between all the players in the tournament would be fun, kinda like the ones they show in the NBA. In the context of HC they would also help ppl in their guesswork, especially the stuff that is...
8 pages is not even close to the proper time of closing a pointless discussion. I'd like to remind the jury of the historical precedent of RicoJay vs the World.
