Re: Seriously, when do AoF balance changes will come to AoFE
Last time I checked in the whole situation was a shitfight, Have they even got voice acting in the campaigns over on the steam side yet?
I have never and will never play AOE2 of any variety online.
LAN parties and Single player every time.
If they brought it out on cd I'd snap it up pretty fast. Can't stand steam...
I feel like a real n00b asking this, but why do so many people post random numbers at the end of their posts on this board?
eg.
I see this a lot on this site
I can understand that "Spanish" also represents "Portugal" in this game, but then why is it called Spanish? (honest question). If it really is inclusive of that whole peninsula then shouldn't it be renamed something like "Iberians" or "Castillians" or "Aragonians"?
(and My earlier Vatican...
On the note of mississippians, I was checking them out on Wikipedia and reading about the Early, middle and late mississippian periods, and the description of the late period finished with this sentence:
WTF? Were Africans Exploring the new world as well?
Maybe at some point they'll do a "You asked for it"/"Age of Africa" expansion, including the civs that the fans have been demanding most.
Portugal
Khmer
African civs (Mali, Berbers, Ethiopians? I dunno, see previous 6 pages for discussion on that front)
If 5 isn't enough, they could Ignore...
Maybe if the warwolf splash radius was more significant? I admit that I've never used it, but every time I flick through the tech tree and read about it I'm like "awesome!!!". If the radius were increased, and perhaps the projectile speed, to improve accuracy, maybe it'd be more worth it
Yeah that would be awesome. My stance is that either everyone gets their own building set or everyone shares :P And I've probably got OCD or something so yes I get obsessed about it
small request: If a battles of the conquerors campaign is planned, could I ask that more emphasis be placed on the Asian civs? The current conquerors campaign is extremely Euro-centric, and a to a lesser extent middle-eastern. Not a bad thing, but it'd be nice to see what was happening on the...
Yeah that's pretty neat. Although I reckon the current meso set looks just fine and glad they didn't introduce a new one just for the incans.
If you get it into the workshop I won't be complaining tho
Currently it's even worse than the generic AI from AoC. There are serious pathfinding issues in the current version (sadly this effects your troops too)
I'll be clear: if there is another userpatch version of AoFE and it isn't free, I will still buy it. Steam + HD is honestly getting in the way of my enjoyment of the new stuff. Surely there's a way to make the original version "Official" as well and continue working on it? I understand that the...
You can tell that the dracula campaign was designed with the old slav architecture in mind. I reckon it would look better on userpatch version

Also whats up with all the units in this pic...
Hopefully bumping this because the official version is super buggy and unpleasant. I'd be happy to pay (no idea how it would work) if you moved the expansion back to userpatch.
