I get that, my point is that you need to write 0.46 per 100,000 then. In my mind "per capita" means 0.46 per 1 citizen.
When you write Norway has 0.31 entries per capita it does not mean 0.31 person per 100,00 citizens, it literally means 0.31 per 1 citizen.
I would like to know exactly what those 0.46/0.27 per capita mean, because the way i read it, 46% of uruguays population is participating in this nations cup, and i am quite sure 1.7 million uruguayans are not playing. I do not feel like bringing out my calculator but im guessing it is 0.46/100...
Dratek made quarter finals in WCG 2003 fine, but that was for AoM, last aoc wcg was 2002. I dont mind calling dratek an expert in AoM, maybe even in aoe3 (competition was quite poor though, and even i made it to 2.3k and 40+ in power rating). As for aoc dratek was as i remember not an expert, he...
Even though I havent been active in the league for some time, it is great to see that it is still this active. All respect and credit to the organizers.
WSVG should not have promised tickets they could not deliver, and it is a shame that Katsuni and Memb couldnt be in the maldives, however, to me it seems like Katsuni and Memb got the same information that Nelson and Genette got (ofcourse Nelson and Genette could have had contact with wsvg...
Some ppl need to stop underselling players from 15 years ago. Competition was alot fiercer and the tournaments (both 1v1 and tg) were alot more stacked, first the wcgs (2000-2003) 2000 was aok i think, the rest aoc. Arbalet cup 1 was insane 512 players 2k+ in single elimination arabia...
I agree that kkab was no slouch in 1v1, but he was never a top 10 1v1 player, and if he was he never really comitted to it. I cant remember any 1v1 tournament where he went far.
Kkab is definitely a part of a very exclusive club of players with that much teamgame tournament success, however when we talk about the best players in aoc (even though i was more a teamgamer myself) the true individual skill only really shines in a 1v1 environment, and there kkab has not...
I would probably not put kkab on a top 10 players of all time, i would however most probably have him somewhere near the top if it was top 10 most important ppl in aoc history.
This is the kind of attitude that would make a pretty shitty list and completely ignore the first 8-9 years of aoc save Daut and chris because they kept playing. Reasoning like this doesnt work, like i said in my previous post it is abour comparing players to other players of their time and how...
Nice initiative, however I see alot of ignorant ppl in here, ofcourse the greats of today would beat the greats of yesteryear, that is beside the point. You can not compare players like that, you have to put them into context and how they measured up/dominated against their peers of their time...
Sweden has sadly regressed alot as an AoC nation :D . Even though i must say I am very happy and proud that someone like spaden came along, very mature for his age and a very strong player. Yet he alone can't rival how good Sweden has been, wich imo was 2004-2006. I am also very pleased to see...
