So I read a lot of posts on different forums saying something like
"Being a 10+ 1v1 elo is not a noob!"
"10+ is average statistically..."
"Humbleflex? 13+ is like top 15%!"
This makes me wonder, how do the Zone / Voobly boomers define "noob" nowadays?
They will be removed from the ladder after 28-day inactivity, thats why even the median of the 1v1 ladder is around 1020, that also explains why theres a dip between 950 and 1000,
In statistics, mean, median, and mode are all known as measures of central tendency, and in colloquial usage any of these might be called an average value.
Anyway, with the 28-day inactivity mechanism, mean would most likely be even higher than the median.
Not really, for the FIDE elo system, players from different ranges have different k-factors, so non-zero-sum elo changes could happen. Definitely not as messed up as the pre-recent-fix TG ladder tho.
The median elos supposed to be 1000 (or slightly higher), they just screwed up the ladder in...
(1) I dont mind that really even tho I myself have banned maps. The MM system was exactly like that at first, until people complained about it. And I pointed out the preference mechanic further favours the map specialists heavily once it came out...
Well for the available vaccines the chances arent small at all, and the level of sickness goes up to death.
So its basically chance to die <=> chance to die
Uptil now, HKs death count = 210 (EDIT: 12 deaths since 26th Feb)
Death which might be resulted from vaccines since 26th Feb = 9+
