When you say "no innovation, at least not for multiplayer", what would you be looking for? Would implementing the things you outlined in your post count as innovation or just improvement? 2023 AoE 2 Nations Cup [$18,622 Prize Pool]
I wasn’t ever around when true sling was allowed in TG tournies so take this with a grain of salt.. but could it ever work to allow unrestricted sling in X number of games in a set? I think we’ve also learned to make sure auto farm is turned off in the super late game… iirc ruben auto-seeded two farms (one of which I think he had lamed in Andre’s base) and because of those farms couldn’t afford a new monastery.- brie0101
