I know I'll get **** on for bringing this up, but TTL doesn't even meet Liquipedia's own guidelines for S Tier which is $30k (unless the prize pool is much improved this time. It hasn't been announced yet). It doesn't make a lot of sense to overly commit to a tournament paying out $17k to 24...- Giuseppe551

Altogether too many. My baseline is this: if I can't even remember who won a tournament, it probably wasn't too important. I've never heard of either of those but they have a combined prize pool of $260 so no, that is not even remotely in the ballpark with what I'm suggesting. If you add Miguel/Dogao/Slam, China, and Vietnam, I think you have more than enough teams to host an interesting TG league. The question is who would want to do it? It's undeniable that hype is lower than it once was. Just look at coverage of MBL vs Tatoh today: scant. People just drifting away from the game I guess. Which I suppose is normal enough, but when your scene relies so heavily on just a few big personalities it obviously hurts more than it would...- Giuseppe551
