Lower seeds naturally have tougher draws.
_Andrew's point was that Yo's draw is exceptionally hard considering him being seed #4.
Although, #4 (Yo) against #5 (TaToH) is the logical quarterfinal, of course.
According to seeding, the hardest draws, i.e. with the lowest expected sum of opponents'...
Dude, I don't know how old you are, or what your life schedule looks like, but I play like 10 games a month 11 For most casual or intermediate TG players - if they don't already play 1v1 regularly - 100 games of 1v1 is a massive barrier, which will probably just break the TG matchmaking because...
So, the 80% of sub-1200 players shall be forced to play 100 1v1s or go to lobbies, because the 1% of 1600+ players are unhappy with their matches and too lazy to make their own lobbies?
Sounds fair.
When talking about "player base", three (or even four) levels must be distinguished, imo:
casual; ranked casual / semi-competitive; and competitive (with maybe a separate category for the actual pros).
On the casual or ranked casual level (which, let's face it, are well over 90% of "the player...
If it is really an issue that winning all sets doesn't guarantee you the top spot, it could be avoided all together, if just top 2 plainly advance and bottom 2 go down.
Relegation matches could be between p4 in the higher league and p3 in the lower league (instead of internally in the lower...
The militia line has mid game simply no purpose, other than being a very specific hard counter e.g. to eagles.
They aren't cost effective food wise against knights and get hard countered by xbows.
For a ram push pikes are more important than long swords.
And eco-wise they are ultra heavy on food...
You cannot just equal games/goals with sets/games ... which should already be clear from the peculiar appearance of the term "games" on both sides but at different levels ...
To stay in your analogy: Suppose, Premier League would be three full round robbins in one season, instead of two. Would...
Point is, you first addressed me with "Bullshit, you just don't want to leave your comfort zone." without being provoked at all and then you tell people to "be careful how they express themselves to you".
And that combination is ridiculous.
Of course, you have every right to react to offenses...
Ooh, now we scared ... also, imagine being a streamer and talking like that to community members ...
I was never talking about your proposal (as you would realize, if you actually read what people are writing). My point was and is, that you just assume that your view on tg matchmaking is shared...
False.
For many players, especially at lower elo it just easier to play ranked rather than to browse dozens of lobbies.
Just not acknowledging other view points than your own is very serious.
Probably both concepts apply, but at different levels.
At higher levels, people understand ranked matchmaking as a competitive platform, while at lower levels it's something like quickplay with a slightly bigger incentive to try your best and win.
I like the current state of the game very much, and the recipe for that is simple:
I am a noob. I don't care about elo, don't mind the occasional bug or cheater, or temporarily broken civ, and sometimes just like to play campaigns and chill.
I don't need a game community to enjoy the game. I...
How do ghulams stop the halbs from shredding the camels and pala taking anything else?
Also, have fun microing CA or HC to target the halbs. You will just get overrun.
Because you literally said, they have literally no weaknesses. And I just wanted to point out a weakness they definitely have...
