I think this cant be true. ACCM for example is playing every 100 $ tournament (and ruining all chances for lower players to win anything). Not playing Nations Cup just cause of money would be really disappointing. I hope players will realize, that their fans want them to play in this...- Snyper1_

2023 AoE 2 Nations Cup [$14,161 Prize Pool Currently]
A bigger Mappool is good for a long tournament and it also gives more chances for the lower rated teams, so please keep that! Dont forget that these tournaments also develope the playstyle because teams start to think about maps and strategies :)- Snyper1_

i dont get why they do LAN tournaments even. It just causes many problems for players from all over the world, it makes flights necesary which damage the environment, costs thousands of dollars which can be spend to the prizepool and for the viewership it is not much difference at all. Maybe you can make a hidden betting for a map in the mappool for sponsors choice? Like 1 map in the pool is decided from the highest bid sponsor and that donations goes straight into the prize pool. I thought the reason for the ELO Cap is that new Players will come and play DM. But the cut of at 1500 RM (!) Is just ridicolous low and excludes a big potencial of new players playing DM. The only RM players that play DM world Cup are easily 2k+ ELO. A 1500 RM ELO cut would make the...- Snyper1_
