TTL Group Stage Results: Relegations/Promotions

Yeah exactly, the only other tournament that I'm aware of with a similar format was Rise of the Elephants and that ended with a very strange tie between Suomi (4-0, 13-7) and aM (3-1, 13-7). I'm sure if you asked anyone on aM they'd say that Suomi won. Strange to see it implemented here as well...- Giuseppe551

Wouldn't that have significantly lessened the drama? A main concern, and probably the source of most of the hate (or valid criticism, take your pick of words), back then was aoe2 being pushed aside for aoe4. From the handbook: "All players are expected to schedule their matches during the prescribed timeframes to the best of their ability". It also allows for exceptions, but saying they're not limited to a certain week is incorrect. As for Gold League it's probably good to give those players more...- Giuseppe551

The idea behind this is league is good but it's really suffering from scheduling issues at the moment. Being flexible with players is fine but it reaches a point where it starts to feel kind of absurd. That's really interesting and confirms that the game is just not super competitive. I mean seriously a caster, a full time farmer, a bunch of retired sc2 pros (I mean like, wayyyyy retired) all in the top 10.
