Have the devs actually made feudal towers great again?
Arabia map gens with fewer, but larger woodlines ought to work with Trushes. Because of the defender's longer walk time around woodlines to Villager rush Towers.

AOE-II DE Are Burmese still underwhelming ?
Would replacing the BE bonus with a bonus for faster moving Scorpion projectiles be too busted for a civ that has already a good Smush? In regards to fighting Crossbows without +2 Skirms.- Sticky Ice Cream

Massive update that no one talks about (?)
Another shout out to the devs for implementing a prototype for AI that can wall its base. I haven't seen it in action yet, but the devs asked for feedback on this new feature specifically. Now if only the default AI could fight better on water maps, including landings.- Sticky Ice Cream

Why does it matter if Aoe2 'dies' or shrinks in player size?
My only mild concern is an online game dying in the way that makes any online interaction impossible, including modding. AOE-IV Is Age of Empires 4 a failure?
No, Age of Empires II's sequel is not a failure. It's a big commercial and popular success that's still known amongst the RTS community. AoE II being the much, much more popular game doesn't make Rise of Nations a failure. :tongue:- Sticky Ice Cream

Pretty much. At least from a customer point of view, any "Us vs. Them" between DE and Voobly is an illusion that doesn't exist. What is your favourite Final Fantasy game?
V, because the fanmade "Four Job Fiesta" format gives it probably the most replayability out of any FF by far. Replayability which is also helped by V having a relatively short clear time for an RPG (around 15 hours for players familiar with the game.)- Sticky Ice Cream

I agree. Arabia can still be sometimes fun to watch, but playing Arabia nowadays is boring. It's so optimized that execution vs. strategy is grossly unbalanced in favor of execution.
