I like all the nerfs, will be interesting how big the impact of the x-bow/arb upgrades is.
Bengali still looks very weak though, buffs probably won't help much
Never should've taken the job in the first place. Trying to be tournament coordinator, tournament host, competitive player and streamer all at once was bound to lead to controversy with the amount of money that is involved nowadays.
Of course N4C was the big talking point there but just in...
I'm watching for the games, so as far as it concerns me i don't need any cams or audio.
Tbh i found the cams to be a bit annoying as they take up a lot of space. It's cool for 1v1 but TGs already have so much going on both in game and on the screen that i pretty much never pay attention to the...
Nili is a streamer and brought this controversy onto himself by doing his content creator job + tournament coordinator job + tournament organizer job all at the same time, despite being well aware of the obvious issue there is when it comes to allocating funds.
Now sure there are always people...
Needs a balance, unfair maps can ruin games for sure but on the other hand some randomness makes it less predictable.
In my opinion any attempts to make it completely "fair" as in mirror map or fixed position for TCs etc (like some HC maps) take away some crucial aspects like scouting and/or...
For the public opinion probably yeah, game quality depends on what the initial issue were though.
With mods and patches/DLCs games can be greatly improved after release, but a lot of people will probably never even try these when the initial release was bad.
Cyberpunk may end up as a good game...
Didn't get to watch that much (and unfortunately saw a final spoiler as well) but what i was able to catch was great.
Especially liked the idea to not have Arabia as g1, was interesting to also see unusual maps to open the match.
I think a lot of the hate and divide could've been easily avoided if they had wanted to. It's not like it is just about (some) players switching games or a tournament, it's a lot coming together.
Nili is the tournament coordinator for the whole AOE franchise, but at the same time he is a...
I have no idea how these games looked on release. And for DE, well yeah people complained and still do to this day but at least that one was "only" the DE of an ancient game and we all knew where it would (or should) go because AOE2 was already a thing. With AOE4 nobody knows if it'll ever be...
They should've invested in AOE4 long before release to get an actual good game.
Instead they released that dumpster fire of a game and now just keep throwing money at it.
