For tournament organisers: banning first is not an advantage, AB-BA pattern doesn't make things fair here
I completely agree with that: I'm always happy to ban map, ban civ, and pick homemap second, simply because the opponent might do what I would have done, or just because it gives me an insight on what he likes. The major difference is that Viper is competing in AoE4 and gaining a lot of money there too. For now, he can get the best of both worlds by playing both games and winning/being top 4 in both. Offtopic, and a lot of this is down to the fact LoL uses a 5v5 matchmaking system. Most of these issues would not happen with a AoE smurf queue, simply because a smurfqueue is unrealistic due to the small playerbase.- DaisyChain

That take can only come from a community without smurf queue. Smurf queue is probably the most hated feature of LoL high-level matchmaking. This is an absolute shitshow with 30 minute queues and 15 minute games. And that's on a game with a gigantic playerbase (even if it's 5v5).- DaisyChain
