Has Frost Giant solved the RTS monetization problem with Stormgate? (aoe2 monetization)
I hope that they don't go full on paid mods. Bethesda tried it and it didn't end well. I'm fine if they sell maps, skins or game modes, but if paid mods also include things that give you clear advantage over someone who doesn't use that like small trees in AOE2. That enters into pay-to-win...

Hera to stop streaming AoE2/4, decides to focus on League of Legends
If Hera enjoys LoL more, good for him. He should do what he enjoys. And there's lot more money in LoL as well, so probably good choice in that regard as well. Of course competition will be tougher as well.- Zeev

Current Situation on Aoe4 and Aoe2
You can always with any game wait for the price to drop. I'm pretty sure we will see some 50% deals next year for AOE4. And by that time bugs may have been fixed and balance be better. You can play as you want. Just play unranked. For ranked, if you want rating to have any meaning, you need same rules for everyone. This is basic stuff in all other competetive games. Ranked is with strict rules and unranked is where you can do whatever you want. Competition need rules.- Zeev
