Well, it is easy to assume that some devs from seattle/Vancouver do the maintenance during their 9 to 5 Job, because it fits the timeframe. Otherwise it would mean they would outsource it, to hit a bad time for maintenance…- Joyster

Ok, i see. Anno 1800 also has a modding community: https://www.nexusmods.com/anno1800/mods/ People still buy the official cosmetic DLCs. I don't mind getting new civs every DLC, but there will be a point, where there are no civs left to add. But we want the servers running and free updates/bug...- Joyster

Forgotten Empires should start releasing cosmetic DLCs Anno 1800 style (https://anno-union.com/our-cosmetic-dlc-plans-for-2022/). It doesn't affect gameplay and is an easy way to charge 5 - 10 monnies every now and then. I paid 5 bucks for some ship skins in Anno. Don't regret. I think a lot of...- Joyster

AOE-II DE Radical changes to the Dark Age.
5 Vills, 2 houses and 2 from the 4 starting sheep under the TC would be alright I guess. Chinese get 7 Vills and loose only 50 food or something and Mayans loose their bonus, but get -50 Gold and have loom already researched.- Joyster

AOE-II DE Basically no closed maps in 1 vs 1 RM map pool, now mostly only fun for pros
Well, the set of Maps you can choose from is very limited. You can’t even vote for black forest in 1v1 right now. There is never am even distribution of open and closed maps to choose from.- Joyster

AOE-II DE Remove Archer class from Hand Cannoneers
I like that HC are glass canons. They should keep the archer class. An increase in accuracy and damage would be better I guess?- Joyster

Well... i paid maybe 30 bucks for HD and all the expansions and 15 bucks for de.. 2010 i paid 15 bucks for 4 New maps for call of duty modern warfare 2. aoe is still cheap af, its almost free compared to other games- Joyster

AOE-II DE Force Random Civ on Battle Royale
So in theory the last patch should be a very good solution for the pick/random "problem" in team games. Just pick your favourite civ and enable the preferred random civ toggle. If the majority of players wants to go rendom, it will be random, if the majority wants to pick, you have a good civ...- Joyster

AOE-II DE Why I don't like the new nerf to Indians
My suggestion would be, removing the +1 pa, give back the imp armor upgrade and change the base stats of imp camel to have 0/1 armor. And bring down the bonus damage to buildings down to +3 (should do the same damage vs buildings as knights then i guess). Maybe another +1 or +2 vs buildings in imp..- Joyster
