what is the issue with simply using cost to balance everything? It would be much simpler to just raise the price of OP stuff and lower costs of the weaker stuff. So if you want to nerf walling, raise the price, simple!- FireBall37

So I have noticed a lot of discussions about unfairness in maps recently, in several threads, and it got me to thinking about fairness and random maps in general. Allow civ bans in rated
Maybe there could be a system so a person who has banned a certain civ is not matched with a person who chose that civ. That would allow both what they want without any trouble- FireBall37

Do you think the pro players getting better in AOE2 recently?
It is a very interesting question. For example in chess there were years and years of playing the same way then someone came along and improved.
