1) significantly worse off. No DE and significantly weaker pro scene 2) somewhat worse off because that also could mean no DE. Also, AoE2 would have had to share some of the Corona boom with another AoE title 3) probably somewhat similar, as money would be invested into DE as a marketing tool...

The problem for me is that it is too few games happening per weekend, and with that the tournament feels like it is progressing very slowly. I definitely would have preferred shorter series but more of them during a day- dodageka

I’d think about +5 wood for archers. Makes it a little bit harder to mass early on and slows down castle age (less wood for farms). That should make scout into knights play more viable and also nerf the drush fc into xbows plays- dodageka
