i agree with lanchi, the calendar is not for special events anymore, everything is posted there. So you miss always stuff, from big tournaments. Today i could not see that ECL was going, since there is 10000000000 stufff

Perhaps we could also make it so that multiple events could be collapsed into a single event. E.g. instead of having three separate ECL entries, we could just have one, formatted something like

ECL EUW 1v1 Ro16
Xiaofan vs DauT - Friday 10:00 GMT
TheMax vs BacT - Friday 11:00 GMT
Nili vs Jibatong - Saturday 10:GMT

Then maybe a user could hover over an individual match-up to get the information about who is signed up to it.

I also think it'd help if people don't just plug their streaming events in the calendar, but rather reserve it for actual tournament events. No disrespect meant, but right now there's a spring 24h event and hera 12 hour event. I think that unnecessary clutters the calendar. In my opinion streamers are welcome to create a topic to plug their stream, but don't clutter the calendar :smile:

But how to restrict the calendar? Based on $$$ prize? Known name?
I want all AoE Events that happens to be in the calendar - ofc with some restrictions - but...

about that calendar, the side bar calendar suddenly has 2 scroll bars. one of them doesnt really do much of scrolling.

Alright, now there are "important" events listed at the top under "Featured Events" and then below those the "casual" event appears.
That works for you?

I still think that being able to Hide Events would be the best possible way to solve this, that way people can decide for themselves what they want to appear and what not! It seems it's harder to implement thuogh :frown:

I am here, Sorry I am not as free as you @Lanchi to check this site regularly. Now the Idea that "we" is that there are some subset people who decide which event is "important" and which are not. And clearly with "we" you are placing yourself among those. Now, who the **** is anyone to decide which event is important, why with money, rate etc. Its hard enough for small streamers to get exposure, and then come you almighty to just cause you cant spend 2 sec to see the calendar. Why would be viper's (just an example) 24hr stream be more important than some small streamer's 24hr? So yeah, I have the problem with "we".

I'm very satisfied with the current calendar, now you can keep crying, or create your own aoezone and make the calendar you like there, only you will use that website anyway

Of course i am going to use the website, what even are you talking about. The more you talk the more apparent it becomes how incapable are you to understand basic arguments. One thing that might help you in future : Just cause someone has a problem with one attribute of the website doesn't mean they hate the whole website.
