Wishing all the best to Hera, and glad that he still wants to participate in tournaments
Sad to see key players leaving

I don't think Hera cares too much about it.Hera might come back even quicker than we expected. I saw that he has Nili-like viewer numbers (few hundreds) on twitch with LoL
He has already said that he will play big tournaments (mostly Golden League at this point) so I expect we will see some AoE4 soon as he starts to get back into shapeHera might come back even quicker than we expected. I saw that he has Nili-like viewer numbers (few hundreds) on twitch with LoL
It's probably much healthier and even better as a long-term plan to stream something you enjoy in front of few viewers than bore out in front of many.Hera might come back even quicker than we expected. I saw that he has Nili-like viewer numbers (few hundreds) on twitch with LoL
T90 gave this same advice earlier today on stream actuallyIt's probably much healthier and even better as a long-term plan to stream something you enjoy in front of few viewers than bore out in front of many.
If he wasnt lying back then, he wont care about that much now.Hera might come back even quicker than we expected. I saw that he has Nili-like viewer numbers (few hundreds) on twitch with LoL
Pro LoL can be interesting if top teams and the casters are behaving themselves.I wouldn't watch anyone play LoL unless at a gunpoint. Actually no, not even then.
They both suck in their own special ways.Completely unrelated, but Dota > LoL
Sadly yes - DotA over the years growed in something very akward. Its like that dirty dark toxic corner in a junkyard were they put the really dangerous stuff which no one asks questions about. They both suck in their own special ways.
Are you talking about the game itself or alluding to the reputation of its community?Sadly yes - DotA over the years growed in something very akward. Its like that dirty dark toxic corner in a junkyard were they put the really dangerous stuff which no one asks questions about.
I never got the hype about LoL. Tried it - didnt catch me at all - would even prever Smite over LoL. But when he enjoys it go for it. Hope we will see back again on some nice high skilled ladder games in AoE.
Well I believe that because Fortnite is a different genre than LOL and Dota.I never played LOL, Dota or Fortnite
It makes completely sense that after years of being a one-game-only streamer, switching to another game means way less viewers especially if you even switch to another genre, an old game without current new hype on top of that.Hera might come back even quicker than we expected. I saw that he has Nili-like viewer numbers (few hundreds) on twitch with LoL
Viper also said he doesn't mind smaller audience. Interesting how that only comes from those who have already switched and already have lower numbersT90 gave this same advice earlier today on stream actually
I think the decision was more "I cannot keep streaming AoE2/AoE4 exclusively in the long-term"Viper also said he doesn't mind smaller audience. Interesting how that only comes from those who have already switched and already have lower numbers
It's a bit silly to me to say Hera doesn't care. Isn't it literally his job? He talks about growing the channel. You don't grow the channel by having a couple of hundred viewers.
Or he could just be streaming what he enjoys but whatevsThat's fair enough although I see it more of a business decision than anything else. He jumped on the aoe4 bandwagon immediately expecting it to be the next big thing and when that fell flat he's moving on to something else. There's no doubt for me he moves on to another thing if viewership continues to drop. I took a quick look at his Youtube channel and it looks pretty bad.
its impossible to like another game than aoe2 and thats a fact.. i guess. Nobody burns out playing a game for years.... totally illogicalThat's fair enough although I see it more of a business decision than anything else. well I d imagine they got paid handsomely to switch to fb so it probably was agreed in advance with FB that they compensate for loss of income from viewers/subs so number of viewers really doesnt matter for nowViper also said he doesn't mind smaller audience. This is always easier said then done.Or he could just be streaming what he enjoys but whatevs
