I am really curious about this after 20 years with game,
AOE4 and related content pretty hype lately. We also know that GL guys, namely Viper, Nili, Tatoh, may be others too contributed to the game. I expect 2-4 weeks hype and promotion after release with AOE2 pro players, giveaways, constant streams etc. So, according to your opinion how long pro players will stay in AOE4, will they continue playing it or will it be small promotion spree, then everybody switch back to AOE2.
May be additional subjects to discuss for people who are knowledgeable:
Is it possible that AOE4 can totally replace AOE2?
What was the reaction of pro players when AOE3 released?
And some negative ones:
Considering that pro players pool is actually quite small will it divide pro player base and tournament prize pools?
Is it possible that most of the pro players switch to AOE4, but it will die young and AOE2 and AOE franchise will die with it together?
