Just curious what you all think of the following ideas:
Since the DE interface shows resources at the top of the screen, here were a couple of ideas on that regard:
1: Rate of Gather: If you held your mouse over each resources a drop down could be shown showing the approximate gather of said resource for the last 30 seconds or allow as an option for advanced eco.
2: Quick Send Resources to allies: if you held say Alt+Click on a res, a drop down could be shown where you can select your ally and click resources to forward
3: Quick Sell/Trade Resources:
3A:an option to manually enter a number of res to send;
3B: an option to send a percentage of total res owned at time; e.g. 5%, 10%, 25%, and 50%.
3C: Use the scroll wheel to send/sell a percentage of the current amount shown. Could be in intervals of 2%
And maybe the whole thing is just a drop down menu to make the interface easier. It would be blacked out till markets are built.
So if I wanted to sell some wood I could easily sell 50% or 60%. Then an ally needs 238 gold specifically to advance. You manually enter it into the interface and select his name.
Finally, you are playing BF for some reason and selling excess wood for gold because you ran out two hours ago. Your finger is cramping from all your market clicking and your shift key has been permanently welded in the fixed position on the keyboard. You then remember the sweet new market features and sell 100% of your 1,458,092 wood for 2K gold and proceed to build a small army of scorpions who then are destroyed by a single onager shot after which you loose the game. Shame you didn’t remember the feature earlier tho.
