Fun on open maps such as Arabia are ruined because of walls. Players seem to abuse and completely rely on walls every game or at least when they have a Civilization advantage.
I understand that walls are now part of the meta. But what about improving multitasking and rushing skills? Is it really necessary to completely wall up in an open map where you can actually play Arena? Do I always have to spectate games where a strategy relies 99% on walls to succeed?
I'm also having doubts about the feudal age army. Is a feudal rush an old news?..
I'm not sure if you share the same interest as me. I just enjoyed TheViper games back when he didn't have to build a single piece of wall and attacked/defended multiple points in the maps. Those were historical moments and true testimony of how Arabia or any open map is supposed to be played. I guess players back then could do nothing but invent a wall based meta.
What's your respected opinion on this? Don't forget to vote.
Thanks
