It looks like auto reseeding and auto scouting: It's great for AI games, casual matches, and making the competitive late game less APM intensive, while keeping the competitive early game the same as before. I am looking forward to the PC version of auto economy.
Arabia map gens with fewer, but larger woodlines ought to work with Trushes. Because of the defender's longer walk time around woodlines to Villager rush Towers.
Would replacing the BE bonus with a bonus for faster moving Scorpion projectiles be too busted for a civ that has already a good Smush? In regards to fighting Crossbows without +2 Skirms.
Another shout out to the devs for implementing a prototype for AI that can wall its base. I haven't seen it in action yet, but the devs asked for feedback on this new feature specifically.
Now if only the default AI could fight better on water maps, including landings.
Those bigger woodlines tho.
Welcome back, Trushing. You were sorely missed!
I don't think FE specifically intended for this to be the case, no. But I do think they were listening to pro players too much for balance feedback. There was at least the perception of singling out playstyles according...

The "dodge" mechanic turns out to be a recharging shield mechanic against pierce damage that gives the Shrivamsha Rider limited invulnerability against archers, but abysmal melee potential due to 55 HP. A Monk UT that gives Monks temporary, but renewable, invulnerability to certain kinds of...
I see there is some discussion on this in other threads. Here is a dedicated topic for it:

Feudal Age Watch Tower has 850 HP (Up from 700.)
Elephant Archer costs 90F/70G (Down from 100/70), has 230 HP (Down from 280), and 0/2 armor (Down from 0/3.) Unknown if less HP and armor are...
RIP old Indians. Welcome, Hindustani's.
Judging by the tech tree position, it looks like the Caravanserai will be a Wonder-like building that gives a passive bonus?
Awesome buffs to their gunpowder units. Now they really are a true gunpowder civ.
Yes. I see Spirit of the Law has a speculation video showing an unarmored Elephant Archer at 1:53. This all but explicitly confirms Elephant Archers as a regional Indian unit from the Archery Range. I think the Spearman UU shown at 1:43 replaces the current Elephant Archer UU...
Wow, I must admit the DLC looks good this time. Non European civs, no "one shot" UT's, another infantry civ, more naval civs, Elephant Archers might become a regional unit.
