Exactly, rules that can't be enforced are counterproductive. Either delay chat or the entire stream, or accept these kinda things happen. Yeah it compromises fair play a bit as pointed out, but at the end of the day people will obviously prefer their tournament being seen by 4000 people than 50.
Don't read it too far, Viper just has more emotional intelligence than most other aoe2 streamers. But other than that he's a pretty average guy as far as I've seen
Everybody with a public, exposed life if bound to show some defects. Hera seems like a very solid guy from what he's shown all these years. He's done mistakes but everybody has, nothing that justifies any "hate".
Let's not pretend people aren't saying the exact same things everywhere else... If you check youtube comments or reddit comments in the respective news posts, you'll se people having the exact same concerns.
That's true. "way less" might've been a bit of an exaggeration, but maybe Liereyy is feeling like he's being left behind and not feeling as motivated. Obviously the one who knows the truth is Liereyy himself.
Maybe he lost motivation to keep on playing aoe after Hera moved on to GL? He knows he'll earn way less with the game now that all TG competitive scene is gonna be a monopoly. You could argue that Hera moved to GL only very recently, but obviously they should've been talking and negotiating for...
Blaming it all on the "pros" is very unfair. It's way more due to previous administrations' mistakes. PkZ sold the domain without previous warning to the community, and aoezone stayed offline for almost a month, if not more, I can't remember exactly. Then the administration that took over still...
Dark age play is very stale, it's basically always the first 10 min wasted for the viewers, makes sense they want that part of the game to be wrapped up faster.
