In this very thread we had aoe4 fans trying to mock viewership of BOA that barely just finished. Never been anything else, alright.
Also, people like me? You're not special because you play other games, aoe4 fans having no loyalty to the game is not a positive thing. Aoe2 would be nowhere now...
It would be so much effort for so little gain, not to mention it would mess with the existing pathing which isn't that great already. Both players being able to find holes in walls this way really isn't much of an issue.
I can't see it. Hera is my least favorite aoe2 pro, I've criticized his actions in the past but I can see people also make a big deal out of everything he does or says. There will always be apologists as well but I can't imagine many defending a top 5 player who was telling others to die of...
Same as now by anyone who didn't buy into the hype? The reason everyone flocked to it was because it was a new RTS with a big name. Not because its potential was super amazing and somehow ended up being let down by the devs. If the game was released in the state it is right now, end result would...
That does seem plausible. RBW 5 was supposed to be the last Wololo event. They probably thought aoe4 was going to be the direct replacement for aoe2 and that most people would be playing aoe4 by now.
This. The delete "trick" was some proper bullshit. And although it has existed forever, it's only in DE that it has become a "feature" that players use to their advantage all the time.
It's a silly post really to make it seem like stopping playing aoe4 was this huge mistake. You could tell Hera was mostly kidding here plus there are no burned bridges. He had left aoe2 in a similar fashion and everything is the same now as if he never did. If he wants to return to aoe4 there is...
What's more crazy.
Aoe4 getting 300k in this state.
Aoe1 getting 50k, does anybody even play the DE version competitively?
Aoe2 despite everything getting twice as much as last RBW
Hard to decide but it's probably in this order. Hopefully they give Nili a costume this time.
Pretty awkward that they would invite Viper for aoe2 when they know he'll try to make it to the other game.
Just have the events properly separated and I don't care. From the length of the event, I doubt that's the case though.
