Back when plums were cheap and there were far less civs maybe, but even then they were not OP. Nowadays you got a civ like Chinese who have a lot more options and imo a better economy than Mayans. There are other civs who have simply more options midgame (new civs, Burgundians, etc.). Maybe late...
Sure Lithuanians is imo not a bad civ (probably either high B to low A tier). They have their powerspikes sure. But really man. If you compare them to a civ like Chinese who have many more options and an ecobonus that effect them the whole game. They won't stand a change on arabia. After darkage...
Like Rayne said, it is hard to say. Aoe learned me a great deal about work habbits etc. But I think a game can learn you only that much.
Sure you can tell yourself that if you put all the time and energy that you have put in this game in something like studying, you would be somewhere els. But...
- Memb is by far the best caster we have.
- Walls need even more nerfs
- Laming is part of the game, but you won't become a better (skilled) player by doing it.
