I usually sit around mid 1600's and have played Canary quite a few times.
Sometimes he insta-resigns. I've had him resign 5mins in. Sometimes he stays and whoops me. I smushed him in our last game and got the W. He never talks so not sure what's going on.
Hmm, I'm by no means a great player but I'm fairly certain my Aztec 1TC fast Imp is going to be up to imp considerably faster than a Cumans 2TC Fast Imp. A couple minutes is 2-3 trebs and the Aztec monks getting block printing, illumination, Theocracy and up to 80hp. That starts becoming very...
Aztec Fast Imp Monk+Treb with one barracks for pikes. Always does well against any civ that's booming in Arena. Just have to be careful that your opponent isn't doing a 1TC ram push.
Works well for me and my monk micro isn't great. I imagine the better players with good micro could really...
With two relics they are more than cost effective against Genoese Crossbowmen which is ridiculous imo. They should not be coming out on top in a head to head fight against a unit that is meant to counter them.
As a mainly team game Arena player I'd say Letis are quite OP in these settings. In 4v4 Arena it's fairly easy to secure 4 of the 8(?) relics and then boom into Letis production.
Cheap and incredibly effective with their armour ignoring attack. Equally skilled opponents they will usual come out...

They are cost effective against Genoese Crossbows which is just ridiculous imo.
Have been playing Vikings a bit lately and trying the 3TC Arb+SRam Arena strat. Vikings obviously have a fantastic eco boost that helps this along, usually hitting Imp around 26mins and attacking a few minutes later.
Wondering how the other civs that have access to these units fair with this...
