I always thought Nili should leave GL, but mostly for an other reason than the one you evoke.Nili should leave the GL team, because he is the organizer of the tournament.. We must also require a yearly schedule with all the aoe2 and aoe4 tournaments.
I'm searching for a time in my life where I appreciatedNooNili personality and his Age of Empires II related decisions.
So far I didn't find anything. Don't worry I'll keep you updated if some gold nugget is found!
I didn't think of this until you mentioned it lol. Gonna be cringe fest, will have to watch player interviews and interactions. Why is this a LAN? Normally, the great thing about a LAN is that people from a community that know each other for years can finally meet. Within AOE4 there is almost zero connection between the players (if not connected by previous games)
If you have seen his youtube video you would have seen him heavily teasing NAC4. So I am pretty sure it will come end of this or next year.NAC was always my least favorite "major" on the AOE tournament calendar anyways because it always felt more like an event for the players than a competition. I could be wrong but that's just the vibe I got as a viewer. It seems like we won't have any NACs for AOE2 for the forseeable future so this opens up a vacancy for a new S-tier tournament to take its place. Hopefully we can find the right sponsor and right settings to make the most of it.
I think it's more cringing at how clumsy Nili is being.so much malding going on
On this note I wonder when the "hate" will turn towards Dave who's participating as a caster in this tournament, like he hasn't streamed AoE4 since November and even back then only from time to time.and like 2 months ago everyone was hating and abandoning T90 and now he is the savior because apparently he just couldn't kill Aoe2 not enough.
this is harsh. totally unfair. you have no idea what he s done to the community behind the scenes besides all the tourney hosting/promoting he did in the past.I'm searching for a time in my life where I appreciatedNooNili personality and his Age of Empires II related decisions.

dont worry, its physically impossible to hate daveOn this note I wonder when the "hate" will turn towards Dave who's participating as a caster in this tournament, like he hasn't streamed AoE4 since November and even back then only from time to time.
I guess for some Players/Casters this Tournament could be the final try to get into AoE4.
Dave is a professional employed by tournament staff. I don't have similar ethical concerns, so no need to do that. He is just chasing his paycheck in a fair way, same for players. On this note I wonder when the "hate" will turn towards Dave who's participating as a caster in this tournament, like he hasn't streamed AoE4 since November and even back then only from time to time.
